Isnt he just precious!!? I love everything we did and he was such a good little baby!
When mom came to me and told me she wanted a ‘hanging’ shot, I got nervous and excited at the same time. I did go to an AMAZING newborn photography workshop where I learned from some of the best newborn photographers how to perfect that shot, but I had not done it on my own for a ‘real’ client. So I proceeded to tell mom this, and I love the fact that she had complete trust in me to get it!! We really worked at it..that’s for sure, it’s not an easy shot…but love what we got! 
Cant show the others as I’m waiting for announcement to go out first! Here are a couple more favs.

We just got back from our long, much needed vaca….and all the plans of blogging and such before we left went out the window as me and the fam were sick. I think it was just a rough week overall. Let’s see….we started potty training, we got a big girl bed for Ava (both so very interesting), I got stung by a bee, I got sick and didnt have a voice for over 3 days….I feel like I’m leaving something out. But I think this is enough to give you a good picture! HA
Well, let’s not delay any further, I need to get to postin’ some cuties!! Let’s start with this ball of sunshine! I have photographed her since just a couple weeks old, and it honestly really amazes me to see some of these kiddos over and over again! Truly truly LOVE it!!

So….yes, the day has finally arrived. For the last 2 weeks, I have been sulking in this reality that I’m just getting older. But the 30s are the new 20s (so I hear)…so I will try to embrace it. This morning I woke up from a dream at about 5am. My husband stayed in from work and told me to get ready…that we’re going to New York (ahhh…that’s the highlight of the dream). B/c then I started crying when I realized I had nothing to wear. lol That’s when I woke up…. No, there wasnt a NYC trip in today’s agenda, and no I wasnt crying over clothes. Yes, I was still huge and pregnant! lol But then I started to realize that, wow…I am 30!!!!! I am 30…..married to the love of my life, mother to a daughter that adores me….and that I love more than anything….and carrying a precious life that we have been blessed with…we have a roof over our heads and we are all healthy. Ya know….the little things that we all sooo take for granted every single day. God has granted me another year of life to enjoy these things, and I only pray that I would live this year glorifying Him in everything!!!

What was supposed to be a beautiful afternoon at the field turned into a dark and dreary sky….and me praying that the rain would stay away. Well, it did…and we were able to capture some major sweetness…sans golden light filling the field with magical sun drops. I think the kids were enough to keep the mood cheery and magical!!
