I truly love connecting with other local photographers and to have another artist trust me to capture their family is a very high compliment! :) Her family is beautiful and her kiddos were just precious! I skipped a week of MIDWEEK favorites….and my head hangs verrry low! I was traveling and then got sick, so even trying to be fashionably late with it was out of the question. 1 | I’m at it again….reading about this! I will have some of my own….one day!

2 | I’m really into anything floral these days and LOVE this comfy and cute dress!

3 | I just bought this on etsy for A.L.O.T less! High five!!

4 | These didnt last long! They were sooo good, we had to share with neighbors and friends! Didn’t add the coconut shavings, but will next time! :) No more break’n'bake for us!!

5 | I can’t think of anything cuter for a little person’s bathroom! This has CUTE written all over it!

6 | Do you read your food labels? You might have to start unless you want to be surprised like this blogger was. Even if it was incorrect packaging, I guess you need to just double check to make sure you’re getting what you’re paying for! (P.S Love me some full fat organic butter!)

7 | Looking to dress up your camera?? LOVE how girly and soft this lacy strap is!

8 | My sister introduced me to this blog! WOW, just wow!  I’m taken back more and more each time I read. Such an amazing human being and such an amazing family!

Especially this age! I love love love when parents call to have their ‘older’ children photographed. So many folks stop at the early school age…and I’m not quite sure why. I didn’t get any kind of memo saying professional pictures of your children should stop once they reach a certain age! So a shout out to this sweet duo and their parents..and all my other clients that fit this category! :)

Let’s just say I went a little overboard :)

1 | Ever wanted to spruce up the back of your bookshelves? Here’s another creative way to incorporate family photos into your space that will surely demand oohs and ahhs!

2 | This was absolutely divine!

3 | I’m so grateful for the fact that, growing up, we moved around alot and I got to see so many different countries and experience things as a child that most people don’t get to in a lifetime. However, there is a teeny tiny part of me that wishes I could relate to this.

4 | I can spend hours, upon hours, upon hours on this site! Currently obsessed with this artist. Had to snag a few of his pieces!

5 | A new clothing company I came across! Someone hide my wallet now!! Great pieces for your photoshoot! ;)

6 | Got a modern nursery/playroom? How about this A to Z poster?! Not only cute, but so creative!

7 | Little by little I’m trying to turn the girls’ room into a room I love. Being in a (very temporary) rental, it isnt so easy, haha. I’m new to the bunting world, and so I just ordered my first one! LOVE it and so pleased with how it looks. Will have to  post pics soon! ;)

8 | Might need to get this for the summer!

9 | Design Sponge has yet another great diy project that you can do even with the kiddos!! Who doesn’t love stickers?

10 | I’m super low-maintanence and I don’t love to spend hours on my hair. So many hair tutorials on the web (pinterest, seriously get a grip…not interested!!!)…..until…I actually took the time to watch this one. Yay me! If you see me with good hair, it’s because I walked around for a couple hours looking like princess Leia!

**I dont take myself too seriously…but my hair sure looks good! ;)

11 | Swimsuit season is upon us, and I’m loving all the vintage inspired suits! Feast your eyes on these cute suits! Your little fashionista can be cute and modest this summer with a classic one-piece! Love this and this  and I snatched this one on sale for my little squishy love bug!

12 | I wonder….what would happen if I showed up to a shoot in this. Things could go very bad, very fast.

Not here and not really even on Facebook as much as I should. I get a lot of slack from my friends and family for it. Instagram is where you’ll probably catch glimpses of little moments…and 99% of them involve the girls. (Welcome to the life of a mom).  I do break out the ‘big’ camera from time to time for our every day pics and still try and make sure I stop from our craziness to do actual shoots with them. I have a gazillion pictures…and they’re all on my computer (yes, guilty as charged). My husband gives me a hard time about the framed photos in our house and wonders if I got the memo that we have two children now. Poor Mara…she’s such the second child (as am I…you’d think I’d over compensate for the fact that I had barely any pics of me growing up). Anyhoo…trying to do a better job with pics of my kids and get them organized and printed (books and on the walls of our home). Maybe I should start a personal section to this blog. We’ll see…baby steps!  For now..just wanted to post just this one pic of our easter/spring shoot we did just because they are so cute! :) I got their little vintage dresses on etsy and they just looked like little dolls. Hopefully I’ll be back with more soon! :)
