As I look back, I have sooo many sessions I need to blog about…but I wanted to make sure I didnt forget this one! Oh, what a joy it was to spend time with my dear friend, Heather, and her sweet family. There is such an amazing group of photographers in Birmingham, (and yes, we all love each other) and I am so delighted to call them friends. We meet for lunch as a group once a month, also one on one playdates… we make use of social media where we connect to learn from each other, vent to each other, laugh at each other and even share prayer requests. In addition for sharing a love of photography, we are (for the most part) all moms, so we can pretty much finish each other’s sentences.
I have come to know Heather through this group and am soo thankful! She has a heart of gold and her laughter is contagious! Her sweet family is so precious and being with them for just even a minute, you can see how they are just smitten with each other! It’s too cute! I got to spend an afternoon with them at the Christmas tree farm to capture their new christmas tradition as a family! It was so fun and playful and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it in a small way! Please check out their cuteness!

I told you they were cute!! If your family has a tradition (doesnt have to be christmas….it can be Saturday morning pancakes)…please dont let they years pass by and not capture it in one way or another! Having these precious memories is absolutely priceless and I have to say…I’m going to practice what I preach going forward as the whole time I was shooting this, I was thinking about how I want this for my own family!
