Mara

I’m putting final touches on Ava’s birthday party…when I realized: I havent even posted Mara’s birthday party! Infact, I now remember a client saying to me that there were no pics of Mara on the blog! WHAT?! No pics?? I mean, I know I am world’s worst blogger, but to go a year and not post ONE picture! I just have no words. So I better stop and try to somewhat redeem myself! Here are bits and pieces of Mara in her first year, in no particular order!LOVE THIS GIRL!!

And here are some more recent ones taken around her 1st birthday! I cannot believe how fast it went by! I can barely remember those wee bitty moments as she felt so right curled tight in my arms. Now she wiggles and bucks around until you put her down. Why must you grow up, little miss independent? I do love watching her grow, though…and seeing her personality develop into one that is hers and hers alone! Her determination alone will move mountains one day! Love you baby!!

And these were so appropriate around the holidays! I cant handle the cuteness!

And here is the cliff note version of her party! We went with a ‘winter woodland’ feel…adding little creatures and gnomes (i’m just a wee bit obsessed with them) The wreath hanging from window held several pictures of mara from her first year, including alot of her ‘firsts’: first time sitting up, first time rolling over, first time being spoon fed, etc etc.  And dont you just love those mushroom cupcakes??!

Nothin’ but love for this child! Her birthday was in Dec…and here we are in March. Which only means one thing…toddlerhood is upon us as we keep going up in months! I only pray that I can take in every single moment, something I have been working hard at the last 4 years!
